Responsibilities: The Flex Medical Liaison is responsible to engage in scientific exchange and serve as a medical resource with HCPs, including APPs, who treat patients with myelofibrosis and multiple myeloma. Gain medical voice of customer (MVOC) to better understand patient needs for identifying HCPs (Health Care Professionals) and APPs at community hematology /oncology clinics or other healthcare settings to support medical affairs engagement initiatives through virtual and in person engagements. Proactively engage HCPs and APP multiple myeloma and myelofibrosis treaters and multidisciplinary care team in regionally aligned oncology centers or other healthcare settings outside of geography as needed Engage myelofibrosis and multiple myeloma treaters at national, regional, and local conferences as strategically aligned Respond to unsolicited requests for information including eye care professional information requests Flexibly support ML territories with increased HCP engagement need around product launch, conference support, or other medical initiatives Consistently gain insights in order to identify HCPs/APPs treating patients and/or who have scientific influence in the community or other healthcare settings Attend and complete all training courses and related competency assessments required, to an appropriate standard and within a specified timeframe Other tasks may be assigned as required to support business and clinical needs Job Requirements Along with a demonstrated customer focus and relationship management, the ability to drive results, communicate and influence the ideal candidate has: Oncology experience required. Previous pharma industry experience preferred. Strong knowledge of the pharma/biotech industry Ability to anticipate challenges, manage complexity with a sense of urgency, and create strategies for success. Willingness to travel up to 75%. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $175,000-$185,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Syneos Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
