Indotronix is seeking a Onsite Job: Material Handler - Receiving for a Job Opportunity in Endicott, NY
Max Payrate: $20/hr on W2 This is a short-term Leave of Absence coverage role.
Onsite Job: Material Handler - Receiving Work Location: Endicott, NY - 13760 Duration: 4 months Contract Shift: 1st (Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) Work Schedule: Standard High school diploma or GED 2 years warehousing, manufacturing or receiving
Position Description Material Handler - Receiving. Unload trucks with pallet jack, handle material, sort packages, perform electronic transactions, ensure inventory accuracy, and communicate with other groups. • Unloads trucks and performs receiving/inspection tasks • Performs receiving transactions, troubleshooting, and data manipulation • Follows material plans, receives materials, and prepares for distribution to floor or stockroom operations • Handles materials per required procedures and inputs required data into computer systems • Utilizes tools and equipment including hand tools, soldering iron, crimpers, microscopes, power equipment, and ESD equipment • Moves product between stages (lifting up to 50 lbs required) • Accurately completes required paperwork
Skills Required: • Familiarity with equipment and processes in warehousing/manufacturing • Ability to operate hand jack and lift up to 50 lbs frequently • Adequate hand/eye coordination and visual acuity • Computer literacy for data entry and product tracking • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills • Basic math (percentages, measurements, calculations) • Ability to read/understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and written instructions in English • Knowledge of or ability to learn electro-static discharge (ESD) rules • Ability to understand statistical process control data • Reasoning ability to solve non-standard problems • Ability to recommend process improvements and follow instructions
Skills Preferred: • Prior experience in industrial manufacturing, stock keeping, or warehousing
Experience Required: • 2 years warehousing, manufacturing, or receiving
Experience Preferred: • Experience in industrial manufacturing, stock keeping, receiving, or warehousing
Education Required: • High school diploma or GED
