Under the direction of the Lead, the Wrapper/Hi-Lo Driver is responsible for wrapping all finished goods orders in the shipping area of the distribution center. In addition, quality checks must be performed with each order. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect.
Responsibilities:
Identify pallets that have been picked for same day shipping Wrap pallets in order of priority to prepare for shipping Ensure pallets are wrapped in proper color-coding protocol Organize shipping staging area to ensure shipping is prioritized correctly Perform quality checks Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area Use internal warehouse management system to track daily activities such as scanning movement off finished goods Unloads and stacks material by using lifting device Inventories finished goods on work floor and in warehouse Loads or unloads finished goods onto/off trailers using speed jack rider Must be able to document information as per SOP Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training High school diploma or equivalency preferred 1-2 years of hi-lo driving experience Experience with a wrapping machine Must be able to read/write English Ability to multi-task and prioritize Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely Ability to follow direction from a device Must be able to lift 50lbs Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).. Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours.
We are drug free workplace, regulated by the FDA, required to follow Federal Guidelines; therefore in order to start as well as maintain employment, you must be able to successfully clear drug screening processes, which include testing for all illegal substances per Federal Guidelines.
