Join the Drug Plastics family today as a 3rd Shift Supervisor at our Spartanburg SC Plant! The 3rd Shift Supervisor oversees the Mechanics, Packer Inspectors, Material Handlers, Support Labor & Custodial personnel. This is a Sunday thru Thursday, overnight and Salaried position.

Team Leadership - Motivating, coaching and setting expectation for shift employes Communication - Ability to deliver clear instructions and foster open dialogue among team members Administrative - Proficient in shift reporting, data analysis, scheduling, and using ERP or other production software to track and improve performance Production Process- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, lean manufacturing principles, and safety compliance Problem Solving - Solutions-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement Organizational and Time Management Skills
Some Responsibilities Include:
Review and approve the hours worked by employees on the shift on a daily basis. Complete required production reports. Understand and be able to effectively use Material Safety Data Sheets. Supervise all production employees to ensure that all quality and production standards are maintained. Promote positive employee relations by motivating, training, evaluating and communicating with employees. Insure that production areas are free from hazards and employees are working safely. Attend priority meetings prior to and after the shift change to discuss schedule changes, "down" equipment, quality issues and other miscellaneous items. Communicate with employees regarding job assignments, specific problems encountered on prior shift(s), quality and safety issues and general business events.
