• Mix of inpatient and outpatient practice
• High procedural volume with support staff

Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours per PD (refer to facility)
• Patients per Day: 16
• Call Details: Beeper, response time 20-30 minutes, 1:6 call ratio
• EMR: Epic
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• ACLS and BLS
• Clean history
• Fellowship in Gastroenterology required
Clinical Details
• Scope: Comprehensive Gastroenterology including inpatient and outpatient care
• Typical Procedures:

- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery of bleeders - ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) Äì preferred - PEG placement - Esophageal dilatation/manometry - Small bowel biopsy - Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible), colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision - Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) Äì preferred - Liver biopsy Äì preferred - Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management
