About The Position
Interventional Cardiology, Locums Physician - Oregon
High-volume cath lab role with 24-hour call in Southern Oregon; ideal for physicians comfortable with complex procedures and inpatient consults.
Highlights
* 10-12 call days/month; includes cath lab time
* 1 weekend/month of call expected
* Ongoing need; fall and winter dates open
Practice Setting
* Inpatient hospital setting
* Join team of 4 interventional cardiologists
* Supported by nurses and APPs
* EPIC charting system
Schedule
* 24-hour call shifts: 7a-7a
* Inpatient rounding, consults, and time in the cath lab
* Strong procedural demand
Cases and Procedures
* Weekly team averages:
* 8 left + right heart caths
* 6-8 TEEs
* 3 pacemakers
* 2 STEMIs
* 2 thrombectomies
* 2 IVC filters
* Additional: Impella, Shockwave, EKOS, Loop Recorders, Cardioversion
Requirements
* Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in Interventional Cardiology
* Active Oregon license
* ACLS, BLS, DEA required
