Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Sports Marketing Ticketing Coordinator to join our client's team. The Sports Marketing Ticketing Coordinator is an operations-focused role responsible for the end-to-end management of our customers' sports ticketing program. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while supporting high-profile internal stakeholders and external customers. One will be the go-to resource for ticket management, troubleshooting, and event preparation, ensuring that every experience runs smoothly for attendees and stakeholders alike.

Key Responsibilities

Ticket & Event Operations

  • Manage daily monitoring and troubleshooting of inventory feed in Ticketmanager.
  • Download, transfer, and track tickets from Ticketmanager to inventory.
  • Partner with Ticketmanager help desk for escalated troubleshooting (calls may vary in length).
  • Coordinate day-of and pre-game attendee ticket management, including last-minute transfers and issue resolution.
  • Recall and redistribute tickets for cancellations or changes.

Customer & Stakeholder Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior-level executives, stakeholders, and attendees.
  • Create and distribute clear, polished “Know Before You Go” documents for events.
  • Troubleshoot customer ticketing issues with Ticketmaster and provide timely solutions.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure under high-pressure, fast-paced conditions.

Internal Operations & Communication

  • Maintain and update the Sports Marketing Hospitality Calendar (Excel-based).
  • Monitor and respond to the Sports Marketing help inbox (ticket inquiries, reservations, general support).
  • Publish the weekly Sports Marketing Newsletter (events, highlights, hospitality updates).
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, EAs, segment teams) to support event execution.

Event & Hospitality Support

  • Partner with segment teams to coordinate in-suite logistics, catering, invitations, and host orientation.
  • Support executive attendance by preparing customer attendee profiles.
  • Provide resources and self-serve tools for non-segment stakeholders.
  • Remain available during games for real-time support and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to stay calm, organized, and solutions-oriented under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to “read the room” and work across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or client-facing support in high-pressure environments.
  • Highly detail-oriented and disciplined in maintaining tidy, accurate records and documents.
  • Strong technical proficiency with:
  • Excel (tables, calendar tracking, clean formatting)
  • Word (templates, professional document creation)
  • SharePoint (uploading and editing documents)
  • Nice to have: familiarity with Ticketmanager, Workfront, Splash.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA

Duration: Full-time, consulting

Rate: $55 - $65/hour W-2 consultant of Crawford Group; benefits available if eligible (Our hourly ranges are determined based on skills, experience and location)
