Overview A full-service real estate organization in Western New York is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee accounting functions across multiple business divisions. This is a full-time role reporting directly to executive leadership, ideal for a candidate with a strong accounting foundation and a passion for real estate operations, development, and property management.
What you'll do Manage monthly and year-end reconciliations for assigned properties
Oversee balance sheet account reconciliations and transaction troubleshooting
Process agent commissions and assist with insurance claim reviews
Analyze financials related to profitability, capital expenditures, and budget performance
Assist with the annual budgeting process
Collaborate with the CFO and Accounting Manager on ad hoc projects

What it takes Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Lone Wolf or Yardi is a plus
Real estate industry experience strongly preferred
