As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail and technology-focused locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and regular patrols will support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at retail, mall, and technology-oriented locations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
- Document and report incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.
- Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials as needed for employees, vendors, and/or visitors.
- Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or providing directions during critical events.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Availability across various days and shifts

- A valid driver's license is required per Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
