About The Position
Maternal-Fetal Medicine Locums Physician - California, No Deliveries
Consult-only MFM assignment in California near San Jose International Airport (SJC) with light volume, home call, and flexible 1-week blocks.
Highlights
* No deliveries; consults and assessments only
* Home-based call; just 1-2 calls per week
* 1-2 weeks/month; priority given to 1st and 3rd weeks
Practice Setting
* Hospital-owned clinic with new MFM program
* Single-physician model supported by RN, MA, and Sonographer
* Light volume: 8-10 patients/day
* Cerner EMR
Schedule
* Monday-Sunday blocks, 8a-5p rounds + clinic
* Weeknight/weekend call from home; phone consults only
* Commitment preferred through December
Cases and Procedures
* Maternal assessments and consultations only
* Cerclage preferred but not required
* No deliveries, no surgical cases
Requirements
* Board Certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
* Active California license required
* PALS certification
Travel Accommodations
* Airfare, lodging, car rental, and mileage reimbursed
* Easy access from San Jose International Airport (SJC)
