Applications are invited for one or more non-tenure track Acting Assistant Professor positions. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date of September 16, 2026 . The position is reviewed annually for reappointment. With satisfactory performance in each year, we expect the successful applicant to be appointed for a total of three academic years. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. A successfulapplicationwill be an excellent independent researcher and have an established track record teachingor working as a teaching assistant. Washington State Law requires that this ad list a binding salary range. The base salary range for this position will be $7,800 to $9,200 per month, paid for 9 months ($70,200 to $82,800 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Qualifications
Applicants are required to have a PhD, or foreign equivalent, in Mathematics or a related field by the starting date. Applicants must be highly qualified for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and be pursuing an independent research program in mathematics.
