Requirements/Qualifications/Competence: Previous working experience with Saudi Aramco and holds Aramco approval. Proven experience as Chief Officer on offshore vessels. Valid STCW certification, including Bridge Resource Management and Advanced Safety Training. Strong understanding of maritime safety regulations and compliance standards. Strong leadership and crew management skills in multinational teams. Ability to develop and execute operational procedures and emergency response plans. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure. Proficiency in navigation systems, ECDIS, and onboard management software. Fluent in spoken and written English. Tasks: Oversee all deck operations, cargo handling, and stowage planning. Maintain vessel stability, safety, and operational compliance at all times. Supervise and mentor deck crew, ensuring training and performance standards. Coordinate with the Master on voyage planning, navigation, and risk assessment. Conduct regular safety drills, audits, and emergency response exercises. Manage maintenance schedules for deck machinery and cargo systems. Ensure compliance with maritime laws, company policies, and environmental regulations. Serve as the primary liaison for offshore contractors and port authorities.
