Overview Our client, a reputable Alternative Asset Management firm, is currently seeking a temporary staff accountant for a period of several months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team. Base pay range $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr Responsibilities Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties Assist with tax compliance and audit support as necessary Record monthly journal entries, accruals, and perform reconciliations ad hoc financial analytics and project work for accounting leadership Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance 1 - 5 years\' experience in accounting Proficient in Microsoft Excel Note: This description reflects the responsibilities and qualifications for the temporary staff accountant role as provided by Atlantic Group.
