Data Team Supervisor - Contract - Tampa, FL - $40.00 - $53.00/hr.

Our client is seeking a Data Team Supervisor in Tampa, FL.
Role Description
The primary role is to provide a combination of senior level administrative support, monitor ongoing reporting requirements and technical issue resolution. The successful candidate will have the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism, as well as have the confidence to make informed judgment calls and be self-motivated.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a small data team (4 offshore members)
• Collaborate with two product owners and business analysts
• Manage reporting, data prep, Data analysis and pilot testing for eCommerce solutions for both external and internal customers
• Handle ad hoc requests from C-suite
• Participate in multiple projects and cross-functional teams
• Work closely with offshore teams (India) - frequent morning calls
• Contribute to data science projects (e.g., optimizing shipping rules for e-commerce)
• Support implementation of a new platform next year
Skills & Requirements
• Education Required: Bachelor's degree in data science, data analysis, business, finance or a related area.
• Leadership experience (must have led teams)
• 4-5 years of experience
• Power BI (must have)
• Jira/Scrum knowledge
• Understanding of data engineering and ability to translate business needs
• Pluses / Nice to Haves
• Python
• SAP / S4HANA experience
• E-commerce background
• Manufacturing industry experience
