Smiling from Open to Close (Pay Rate $19.00-21.00 per hour. Dependent on Experience). Monday through Friday 7:30am-5:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients get the care they need. Assists the dentist in restorative dentistry and helps prepare the patient for treatment.
- Provides chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/ cleanup, and patient education.
- Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor’s direction, and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
- Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
- Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during procedures following OSHA guidelines.
- Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
- Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
Qualifications
- Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training
- 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
- Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state
- CPR Certification required
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
