Automation Tester with IRS MBI clearance
Develops and analyzes tests for products and systems; collaborates with other engineering departments when necessary. Applies specific functional knowledge; working/general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance; may review or guide activities of more junior employees.
Bachelors degree and 2-4+ years of directly related experience or Masters degree and 0-2+ years directly related experience. Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree for certain roles. Certifications may be accepted in lieu of a degree for certain technical roles.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Automation testing
- Experience with writing test plans, test cases, and executing manual or automated test scripts
- Experience with developing and configuring automated test scripts and maintaining automated test and test environments
- Experience with SDLC and implementing incremental automation test scripts in an Agile team cadence
- Experience with automation tools, including Selenium, UFT, RFT, GIT (version control) and industry best practices to successfully integrate in a client development environment
- Knowledge of automation frameworks, data driven and keyword driven UI automation
- Experience or knowledge of API and Web Services testing
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps concepts and integrating regression tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline and build process
- Experience with implementing a test automation suite to validate COTS and 3rd party products
- Knowledge of non-functional automation testing tools including JMeter or LoadRunner
- Agile or SAFe certifications
- Testing or Agile Automation testing training/certification
- Relevant COTS product training (Example: PEGA)
