Position Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Sports Performance Coach to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about athletic development and coaching athletes of all levels — from youth to elite. The ideal candidate is professional, motivated, and committed to delivering top-tier training while helping build a strong community and culture at LIFT.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead strength & conditioning sessions for athletes and active adults (1-on-1, semi-private, and small group).
  • Track athlete progress and adjust programs based on performance, recovery, and schedule.
  • Provide hands-on coaching focused on proper movement mechanics, injury prevention, and peak performance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, parents, and teammates.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and engaging training environment.
  • Occasionally assist with content creation, events, or education if desired.

Preferred Schedule Availability

  • After-school hours (3–8 PM weekdays), some mornings or weekends a plus.
  • Flexible based on candidate’s strengths and availability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • NSCA-CSCS, NASM-PES, or similar certification (or working toward it).
  • Prior experience training youth, high school, or college athletes strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of speed development, power, plyometrics, and strength training.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative and adaptive coaching environment.
  • Energetic, coachable, and passionate about helping others succeed.
  • Competitive hourly pay ($30–$35/hr based on experience).
