Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the trade
• Must have a valid Florida driver's license
• Must have a minimum of six (6) hours of training by a Hernando County School Board approved trainer
• Must have certification in Refrigerant Transition and Recovery (universal)
• Knowledge of variable air volume air handling systems
• Ability to keep detailed records and reports on work performed
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move heavy objects
• Must have the ability to climb and handle extension ladders
• Qualified to work with 480 volts, 3 phase power
