Role Description
This full-time onsite role for a Warehouse Manager is based at the North American headquarters in Cumming, GA. The team member in this role will oversee daily operations, lead the warehouse team, manage inventory, ensure the accuracy of shipments, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment. For this role, we are looking for a well-organized and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about warehouse organization and enjoys working cooperatively with team members across multiple departments.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics coordination
- Skills in team leadership, personnel management, and performance evaluation
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and regulations
- Proficiency with warehouse management software and basic computer skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sense of urgency and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Proficiency in core Microsoft Office and ERP programs; ideally experience with Sage X3
- High school diploma is required, Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse team regarding all HR related aspects
- Draft and execute warehouse standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Budget and source warehouse equipment and external services
- Manage and supervise warehouse maintenance
- Handle IT issues, if needed with external service provider
- Review, correct, print, sort every order released to the shipping queue
- Provide shipping quotes for estimates and sales orders
- Print, prep and receive all incoming containers and work with Operations team on any issues.
- Print packing lists, create BOL and print all shipping documents for all LTL orders
- Provide all details to customers for all customer arranged shipments or pickups
- Create and print BOL and commercial invoice for Canadian shipments
- Oversee special requests such as warranty parts, cutting special legs sizes, painting special parts, special packing requests, special or expedited shipping, product checks when there is a quality issue
- Receive and inspect all customer returns RGAs
- Input all freight claims with the respective carriers
- Oversee annual physical inventory count
- Complete inventory adjustments
- Receive all shipments from France
- Order warehouse supplies
- Unlock / open building in the morning
- Other duties as assigned
