As a Warehouse Specialist, you will be a key player on our dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing orders for shipping by placing material in auditing and staging areas.
- Selecting products and materials from shelves using an RF scanner and preparing items for shipping.
- Checking material for damage and confirming correct items and quantities are selected.
- Ensuring material picked is correct and damage-free.
- Attaching identifying tags or labels to material and/or marking information on boxes, cases, pallets, or other containers.
- Assembling and filling orders to be shipped to customers and preparing shipping documentation.
- Safely operating all necessary equipment in the warehouse and ensuring warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis.
- Performing other general warehouse duties as necessary.
- FOLLOWING established safety procedures.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 1+ years of warehouse and distribution experience, including use of commercial or industrial equipment.
- Experience with handheld computer equipment such as RF scanners.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Ability to work well and coordinate with others.
- Ability to read, write, and exhibit strong basic math skills.

- Ability to operate material moving equipment such as a forklift, riding pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and picking carts.
Education requirements include a High School Diploma or GED.
Essential job functions include:
- Lifting/Carrying: Frequently required to lift, carry, push, or pull products, parts, and materials weighing up to 75 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance or mechanical handling equipment.
- Standing/Walking: Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the warehouse on concrete floors during the work shift.
- Climbing/Balance: Occasional climbing onto equipment; ability to maintain balance while moving materials on elevated platforms or racking systems.
- Stooping/Kneeling/Crouching: Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to retrieve, stock, or handle products at floor and low-level shelving.
- Reaching/Handling: Frequent reaching overhead, forward, and to the side; regular grasping and handling of materials, boxes, tools, and warehouse equipment.
- Vision: Must have close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus to read labels, scan barcodes, and safely operate equipment.
- Hearing/Speaking: Ability to hear instructions, safety signals, and warehouse equipment alarms; communicate effectively with team members and supervisors in a noisy environment.
- Environmental Conditions: Work performed primarily in a warehouse environment with regular exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and moving equipment.
- PPE Use: Required to wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes, gloves, high-visibility vest, equipment safety harness) for extended periods.
