We are seeking a dynamic and personable Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling phone communications, managing customer interactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls with a pleasant demeanor.
- Direct phone calls to appropriate staff members.
- Manage company voicemail and distribute messages accordingly.
- Print Mail Order orders for the warehouse to fulfill.
- Handle remote Mail Orders and direct related emails to the correct departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front reception area.
- Assist walk-in visitors, including shipping companies, and manage entry access.
- Ensure the conference room is prepared and tidy for meetings.
- Conduct monthly checks of building overhead lights and report outages.
- Coordinate and monitor building maintenance projects with external contractors.
- Oversee the kitchen's dishwasher operation and ensure dishes are put away.
- Monitor kitchen trash and coordinate regular collection.
- Ensure restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Clerical skills and phone support experience.
- Strong customer service skills as the face of the company.
- Excellent phone presence.
- Computer literacy for handling emails and printing.
- Data entry skills.
- Personable and organized demeanor.
- Experience with inbound call handling.

- Prior customer service experience, preferably in a front desk or receptionist role.
- Confidence in answering phones.
- Ability to work as a team player and assist when needed.
Work Environment: Our office is a fun and engaging place to work, surrounded by candy, which adds a unique charm. We value team building and frequently test new products. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carmel, Indiana.
Pay And Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
