Heavy Equipment Operator page is loaded## Heavy Equipment Operatorlocations: 2051W-CRC West Vancouvertime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-92451**Waste Connections** is searching for our next All-Star **Heavy Equipment Operator** to join us at **West Van Materials Recovery Center**(6601 NW Old Lower River Rd, Vancouver, WA 98660).Starting rate of pay is **$29.00/HR**Schedule is:* **Tuesday – Friday** 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (or until close)* **Saturday** 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (or until close)Safety Sensitive: **Yes**Qualified candidates must have **Front End Loader, Excavator, Yard Truck** and **Trailer** experience.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** **REQUIRES** ability to efficiently & safely operate**Front End Loader, Excavator, Yard Truck** and **Trailer**. Compactor experience *preferred**.** Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.* Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.* Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.**WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:*** Extensive physical activity.
