Job Summary
Supermicro is looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our Human Resources team and support the ongoing recruiting efforts. In this position, you will be a full life-cycle Recruiter, facilitating end-to-end recruiting activities and driving requisitions from open to close. The role focuses on technical and non-technical hiring with deep sourcing for Engineering, Sales, Corporate G&A and/or Product Management positions. You will work closely with hiring managers, track recruitment metrics, manage candidate communication, source candidates from various channels, conduct interviews, and use assessment tools to evaluate candidate suitability. You will also maintain the company’s employer brand, participate in job fairs, and contribute to the overall talent acquisition strategy. This position is based at the headquarters in San Jose, CA and requires on-site work.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Source and build candidate pipelines for all positions, especially in Engineering and Product Management. Coordinate and schedule phone screens and on-site interviews, facilitate the interview process, and provide a world-class interview experience.
- Lead and support all activities in the recruitment lifecycle including candidate management, sourcing, screening, interviewing, pre-selecting, and offer management.
- Proactively identify and recruit passive candidates while maintaining long-term relationships with them.
- Use multiple sourcing strategies and channels (branding, direct sourcing, online postings, referrals, social media, etc.) to provide high-quality candidates for open positions.
- Implement cost-effective recruitment strategies (e.g., employee referrals, networking, job fairs).
- Provide an excellent candidate experience through communication, relationship-building, and execution of the recruitment process.
- Coach managers/interview teams to incorporate competency-based assessments during interviews.
- Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders to understand hiring forecasts, define recruitment needs, and recruit priorities to fill needs promptly.
- Set hiring goals and drive achievement of targets (time to hire, cost per hire, university hiring, diversity goals).
- Track recruitment KPIs (time to hire, source of hire, time to fill).
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and on-site activities are essential. Please consider commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill responsibilities at the designated office location.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of recruiting experience in technology, EMS, and/or staffing firms.
- Proven track record in hiring for Engineering and Product Management roles.
- Experience sourcing and recruiting for a hardware manufacturing company is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience sourcing, engaging, and enabling passive candidates.
- A strong sense of urgency with the ability to juggle multiple positions.
- Knowledge of recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
- This is a contract position.
Salary Range
$55.00/hr - $60.00/hr. The salary offered will depend on factors such as location, level, education, training, skills, and experience. Eligible candidates may receive a comprehensive benefits package and may participate in bonus and equity programs.
