Position Overview
The HR Generalist will provide a hands-on role in supporting the overall human resources functions within the organization, including recruitment, performance management, training and development, benefits administration, and HR policy implementation. The primary objective will be to ensure that HR operations run smoothly and align with company goals and objectives while helping to foster a positive work environment and maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Location and travel
- FULL ON-SITE POSITION BASED OUT OF NLC’S MERIDIAN, ID CAMPUS
- UP TO 10% TRAVEL REQUIRED WITH THIS ROLE
In This Position You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Provide recruitment backup and support to the recruitment team, serving as lead recruiter when needed.
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation; responsible for process and experience improvements that help to ensure a smooth and impactful onboarding experience.
- Maintain employee files and records in HRIS and other key platforms, including data entry and document management.
- Assist in generating reports and tracking people-related metrics.
- Serve as primary point of contact for benefit enrollment and related questions and act as liaison with payroll department.
- Responsible for department purchase orders and supply inventory tracking and ordering.
- Support core HR team with FMLA, performance management, training, and general HR support.
- Collaborate with HR leader and team to support all employees and leaders across the organization by delivering superior customer service through exceptional communication and supporting a positive employee experience.
Required Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Two (2) years relevant work experience in Human Resources
Technical Requirements/ Core Competencies
- HR information system (HRIS) and applicant tracking system (ATS) proficiency.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment and support.
- New employee onboarding and orientation management.
- Employee record and document administration.
- Benefit and payroll administration.
Salary
$31.18 - $34.64 per hour, DOE + an outstanding benefits package
