ESFM® USA is hiring: JANITOR (FULL TIME) in Lansing

Overview

We have an opening for a full-time JANITOR position at GM LGR Lansing – 620 Townsend Street, Lansing, MI 48933. Online applications are accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly; performs heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors; moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment; sanitizes all surfaces and follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and completes tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines; strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team and maintains professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least one year of janitorial experience.
• Willing to drive a forklift; willing to train on forklift.

Job Details

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm; 20 – 40 hours per week depending on business needs.
• Location: GM LGR Lansing, 620 Townsend Street, Lansing, MI 48933. Online applications accepted only.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $20.17 per hour.
