Executive Assistant
Location: Monroe County, Georgia (Fully Onsite)
Salary Range: $55,000 – $60,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview:
Monroe County is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and professional Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership. This role requires exceptional communication skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a reliable problem-solver with a strong sense of initiative and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for executives.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports.
- Serve as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain files, records, and office systems.
- Support meeting logistics including agenda preparation, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- This position is fully onsite at the Monroe County government offices.
