Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring in High School Level American Literature.
• Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Conduct sessions remotely using the Live Learning Platform; manage scheduling and communication with students.
• Utilize Tutor Copilot features to support instruction and save prep time.
• Handle invoicing for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors manages payments.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in High School Level American Literature and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Preference for candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and/or graduate-level education.
