Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online ACSM tutoring to individual students.
• Match with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Deliver engaging, personalized lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions, generate lesson materials, and save prep time.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments and logistics.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in ACSM and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.

Compensation and Scheduling

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects; pay can reach up to $40/hour with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
