Job Title: Survey Project Manager

Work Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Will assist the Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, presentations, employee evaluations, and the recruiting process.
• SIT or LS required.
• Proficiency in CAD, Least Squares Reduction, and other Survey Software.
• Experience with GIS platforms is desirable.
• Experience with Robotic Total Stations, GPS (including post processing).
• Experience with scanners, drones, and other emerging technologies is desirable.
• Should be registered in Georgia or have the ability to become registered within a year as a Land Surveyor.
• A demonstrated record of success on ALTA, route/database, boundaries, topographical, inventories, and other types of surveys.
• Coordinates with office staff and clients as required.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Must have project management experience.
• Participate in pre-survey planning meetings with project managers, resident engineers, and contractor representatives.
• Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited program or a scientific area and/or equivalent work experience preferred. Will accept a two-year degree plus experience.
• Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia; other states' licenses are desirable.
• Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) experience required.
• 10+ years of experience managing survey projects of varying sizes and complexity.
• 8+ years of experience in land surveying.
• SIT license.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Carlson.
• LiDAR collection and software experience (TopoDOT and Pix4D) a plus.
• Experienced with GDOT MicroStation/Open Roads Design (ORD) desirable.
• Working knowledge of GDOT SUE process desirable.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
