Overview
Edith Bowen Laboratory School is looking for an Office Assistant to work in the main office. Typical week is 10:30am - 2:00 pm (10-15 hours per week). This position is to help in the office during the lunch time Monday - Friday. Candidate should be available during these times. Occasionally there may be a need to work additional hours to help cover for other office staff.
Responsibilities
- Answer door and phones
- Assist students with requests, including basic first aid
- Check-in/check-out visitors
- Deliver messages to classrooms
- Assist Business Manager with P-Card attaching
- Assist with workroom supplies and copier needs
- Assist the office staff with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Ability to communicate with young children as well as adults
- Dependable
- Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple projects
