Texas Wood Supply is hiring: Delivery Driver in San Antonio

Responsibilities

• Deliver Materials to customer location with a company vehicle
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
• Open bales, crates and other containers
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory
• Prepare material for distribution and other entities
• On occasion, deliver materials intrastate to other company stores as needed
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Always organize delivery vehicles and work areas for orderliness
• Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service
• Wear the proper safety equipment
• Forklift operation for various tasks, including maintenance
• Refuel vehicles in accordance with vehicle specifications
• Perform preventative maintenance checks daily, weekly, and monthly
• Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
• Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed
• Meeting delivery deadline
• Other Duties as assigned, including warehouse tasks

• License or Certification: Valid Texas Driver’s License Required
• Must be 21 Years of age
