Pay Information $3,318 to $3,421 per week About The Position If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery in Fresno, CA this position might be what you are looking for! Responsibilities: Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, contractions, and labor progress, assessing any complications and providing appropriate interventions during labor and delivery. Support women through the stages of labor, assist in birthing procedures, and collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and anesthesiologists to manage deliveries, including assisting with vaginal births or cesarean sections. Administer pain relief options, such as epidurals, IV medications, or other comfort measures, and assist with pain management during labor and delivery. Provide care to both mother and newborn immediately following delivery, including assessing recovery, promoting bonding, providing breastfeeding support, and educating parents about newborn care and recovery.
