• $20/hr
• Training Schedule: 8 weeks, Mon - Fri, 12:30pm - 9pm
• After training, the schedule is a 4-day work week: Monday - Friday with Wednesdays off. Start time 12:00 PM, 10+ hour shifts
• Electric pallet jack experience required

Position Purpose

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Loader Formula, you will transport items into trailers using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts or by hand. The Loader prepares pallets of outgoing freight for shipping and transports pallets while observing safety regulations and quality standards, maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities

• Transport items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand in the correct stop sequence, according to a predetermined loading plan. Move outgoing products from staging to the loading dock with forklift. Wrap pallets, secure loads, and apply shipping labels as needed.
• Locate the proper slot on the trailer for the order, set it in place, and secure the load when complete.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping; inspect pallets for damage and move to the proper storage area.
• Perform general housekeeping to keep the warehouse, loading dock, and trailers clean and safe.
• Follow safety policies and company guidelines; report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Review work schedule, conduct equipment safety checks, and prepare required supplies for operations.
• Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and safety gear.
• Inspect empty trailers for cleanliness and take appropriate action as needed.
• Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Manage battery changes and complete vehicle inspection checklists.
• Assist Order Selectors and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at shift end.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience using electric pallet jacks
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and required overtime
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly; able to lift and move products weighing 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry)
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
