We are currently recruiting for a professional HVAC Technician to support a large hospital in Lima, OH. As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining systems, as well as conducting routine checks to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
The position requires 1-2 years of experience and a valid driver's license. Having strong physical stamina and a foundational grasp of computers is essential. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Shift and Schedule: 3rd Shift, 4x10 schedule, 9pm-7:30am
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
- Fix equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, manager WOs through the CMMS, Teams, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive attitude.
