Overview
AdvancedPCB is seeking a reliable, motivated Production Supervisor to join our growing company. The Production Supervisor will oversee all processes in producing printed circuit boards (PCB) to ensure daily shipments are met. They must meet deadlines, produce quality products safely and cost-effectively, maintain a positive attitude, and provide excellent customer service. They will ensure jobs move to and from each department in a timely manner to prevent bottlenecks and meet shipment deadlines with 100% accuracy.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely manufacturing of PCB products. Schedule daily/weekly/monthly shipment revenue to meet company goals.
- Supervise production teams, providing leadership, training, and performance feedback.
- Monitor production schedules, capacity, and workflow to meet on-time delivery commitments.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, yield, scrap, and cycle time.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing practices and other process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Support capital projects and equipment upgrades to improve production capability.
- Drive employee engagement by fostering accountability, teamwork, and problem-solving on the shop floor.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring availability to work during standard business hours and mandatory weekend overtime when needed to meet production goals. Shifts may include weekends, when schedule details are provided in advance.
Work schedule is 3rd Shift | Monday night through Saturday morning, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3–5 years of production management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics or PCB.
Additional Skills
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, workforce management, and meeting production goals.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to manage and motivate production teams.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality requirements for PCBs or related industries.
- Ability to interpret production data and take corrective action when needed.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate across departments.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk throughout an 8–10-hour shift. Ability to walk on uneven surfaces.
- Must have common sense to be able to make quick and precise decisions.
Compensation
California Pay Range: $55,000 to $80,000 USD | DOE
The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
