Overview

The Co Team Leader leads the successful operation of the entire sales floor and receiving area. The CTL creates and leads a sales team focused on selling merchandise and delivering a strong associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include merchandising, associate development, customer service, and financial oversight.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and timely completion of related reports to meet financial and operational goals.
• Demonstrates Ollie’s Yes I Care, Yes I Can behaviors in providing exceptional associate and customer service experiences; ensures company standards are consistently demonstrated in every associate and customer interaction.
• Ensure store standards, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet operational expectations.
• Develop and execute talent planning to ensure associate growth.
• Ensure proper scheduling and staffing for the business needs.
• Open and close the store when needed and perform any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holiday seasonal shifts
• Must have a valid Driver’s license

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely
