Overview
The Electrician is responsible for carrying out the direction of the department director to provide a safe atmosphere for all patients, parents, visitors, and employees of the hospital. The Electrician maintains the hospital's electrical systems and ensures that maintenance, repairs, and adjustments are performed to guarantee safety. Work is performed in compliance with applicable electrical codes, and continuous quality improvement efforts are pursued. The Electrician helps develop new procedures, work practices, and data collection to comply with City, State, Federal, OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and JCAHO codes/requirements. The hospital is located in Kansas City at Adele Hall. Responsibilities
Performs all planned maintenance, repair, and project work orders to ensure that all City, State, Federal, NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and JCAHO codes and requirements are met or exceeded.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent; thorough understanding of the National Electric Code and 5-7 years of experience
- Certified Journeyman license preferred

Starting Pay
The pay range for this job begins at $31.96/hr, with offers determined based on education and experience.
