General Purpose

The Human Resources Assistant serves as a supporting member of the Human Resources team and will perform a variety of routine and complex clerical, administrative and technical work.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: Associate degree in related field
  • Minimum 1-year of HR experience
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with employees, supervisors, community leaders, and the public
  • Working knowledge of the principles and practices of modern public administration; working knowledge of human resource administration/development; working knowledge of modern records management techniques
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, and to adapt quickly as needs arise
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently as needed
  • Good organizational skills with emphasis on detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Supports the Human Resources team with routine and complex clerical, administrative and technical tasks as part of a public administration setting.
