Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage all human resources functions. This is a hands-on role where you will handle everything from recruiting to benefits administration, ensuring compliance, and supporting our employees and leadership team
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Partner with managers to understand hiring needs and deliver top talent
- Administer employee benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement
- Oversee annual insurance renewal process, working with brokers and vendors
- Serve as primary contact for employee benefits questions and support
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy in HR systems
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and employee handbook
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and terminations as needed
- Administer and oversee workers’ compensation claims and reporting
- Act as a trusted resource and advisor for employees and managers
- Lead employee engagement, culture, and retention initiatives
- Support leadership with organizational planning and people strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience with strong recruitment and benefits administration background
- Proven experience managing benefits, insurance renewals, and workers’ compensation
- Solid knowledge of HR best practices and employment law compliance
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
