All about Food & Beverage: The Food & Beverage team ensures product is fresh, in stock, available, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. They are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, and lead food and beverage processes for the store.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and a guest-first culture in Starbucks
• Ability to provide a consistent Starbucks experience by curating handcrafted Starbucks products
• Experience with food quality and freshness management
• Knowledge of state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, connecting with guests to deliver quality handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operations
• Uphold and maintain the Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards
• Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and backstock
• Maintain awareness of promotional activities and follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent experience while driving efficiency and food safety
• Support Drive Up and digital guest orders fulfillment
• Maintain an inviting dining area and engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations
• Produce items to specifications on production cards and follow department routines
• Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items; complete cleaning tasks and follow packaging, labeling, and safety requirements
• Identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and manage inventory per best practices
• Follow perishable inventory procedures and participate in sampling and promotions as applicable
• Create a welcoming experience, assist guests, and resolve questions quickly
• Complete required Starbucks trainings and maintain safety, ethics, and compliance
• Work safely at all times and comply with policies; support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up while adhering to applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates
• Ability to use handheld scanners and other technology; good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
