Overview
As an IT Site Services Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining advanced hardware and software components. This position involves supporting network infrastructure, installation and configuration of computer systems, providing expert support for Office 365 and Microsoft Teams, and supporting various operating systems. You will also support warehouse operations equipment and processes, as well as site security processes and controls.
Acting as an advanced liaison for local IT support, you will work closely with the Brunswick IT teams to support the site, drive process improvements, and execute special projects. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, security, and compliance in the workplace.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve advanced issues: provide first level support for complex problems affecting company hardware, software, and network infrastructure across departments. Troubleshoot Windows, Android, and Apple operating systems and peripherals, prioritizing resolution before escalation when possible.
- Network support and testing: perform initial testing of Brunswick network infrastructure, verify connectivity to switches, conduct Wi-Fi surveys, troubleshoot basic firewall issues, and ensure local ISP communication is effective.
- Advanced device management: manage device replacements per warranty schedules, deploy new technologies, assist with installation of network hardware (servers, switches), and support warehouse operations equipment and site security processes.
- Documentation and compliance: maintain accurate documentation of work processes, device management, and compliance activities in line with Brunswick Information Security guidelines.
- Team collaboration and knowledge sharing: foster a collaborative environment, share expertise, guide colleagues, and support peers in cross-functional tasks to deliver technology solutions.
- Technical resource and project execution: act as a key technical resource, plan and drive special projects without compromising current duties, and communicate changes, upgrades, or planned outages to end users.
- Warranty and repair: perform advanced warranty and repair work with vendors and support ordering computers and accessories for site requirements.
- Customer service: deliver excellent customer service, understand user needs, provide timely resolutions, escalate complex issues to Level III Technical Support or Team Lead as needed.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Experience: Strong experience supporting Windows operating systems, Android and Apple devices, Configuration Manager, Active Directory, corporate networks, Modern Workplace, Azure AD, End Point Manager, Intune, Office 365.
- Education: Associate’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related program required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Work Experience: At least 3+ years of related work experience.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $65,000 - $104,300 annually. Base pay varies with qualifications and location. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
