Understanding the business context and designing solutions that meet those needs. Collaborating with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders. Taking responsibility for the success of cloud projects.
Deep understanding of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.
Cost optimization: Knowing how to design and implement cost-effective solutions using AWS services.
Understanding of networking concepts: DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, HTTP, etc.
Understanding of cloud security principles: IAM, encryption, firewalls, etc.
Understanding of DevOps principles: Automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
