About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Med Surg RN License: Current nursing licensure by the applicable state board Certifications: BLS certification from AHA Must-Have: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides, delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
