Material Handler $19-20 HR | 11:00pm-7:00am
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for managing material flow throughout the facility, preparing products for shipment, and assisting injection mold operators with machine setups and changeovers. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods between designated areas using appropriate equipment
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts and reconciliation
Prepare products for shipment by labeling, packing, and verifying quantities against shipping documentation
Ensure packaging meets company and customer standards for quality and safety
Assist injection mold operators with machine setups, mold changeovers, and material loading
Clean and prepare molds and equipment for production runs
Monitor material levels and replenish as needed to support continuous production
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in material handling or manufacturing preferred
Familiarity with injection molding processes is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems
Skills and Attributes:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
