Pay Information $1,744 per week About The Position Job Title: RN - Emergency Room Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Valid RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates must possess the following credentials: ACLS BLS ENPC TNCC NIHSS Description: This is a contract position for an RN in the Emergency Room. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No on-call required. The unit accommodates a total of 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health spaces. The team consists of 111 staff members including day shift charge nurses, mid-shift staff, patient care technicians, paramedics, and licensed vocational nurses. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4 in the Emergency Department, 1:5 for behavioral health, and 1:3 for cardiac/trauma patients. Key equipment includes Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers. Permanent positions are available within the unit. Ideal candidates are those with trauma experience and familiarity with electronic medical records. Typical procedures performed include splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, and resuscitation. The best personality fit for this role are multitaskers, team players, and self-starters. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs. All staff must adhere to established policies and guidelines.
