If you are a current employee click here to apply. Position Overview The Material Handler B will safely perform the necessary tasks to produce quality products in a timely basis. Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Day or Night Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM 2-2-3 rotation (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days; then alternates)
Pay: $18/Hr +.50c (Day shift) / +$2/hr (Night Shift) Premium Reasonable Accommodations Statement To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Functions and Responsibilities * Follow a pre-defined schedule for job specific requirements * Allocate materials for production floor * Handle finished product including boxing, labelling, and palletizing * Set-up and maintain material drying and conveying equipment * Set-up any auxiliary equipment * Ensure proactive safety is a first propriety in all tasks * Communicate timely any concerns regarding materials, maintenance, second operations or quality to appropriate personnel * Perform good housekeeping within work area and ensure cleanliness * Generate and control manufacturing reporting * Participate in Liquibox training programs * Provide plant wide support Competency Statements * Ability to actively attend to, convey and understand the comments and questions of other verbally and with documentation * Interpersonal - Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals * Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions * Ability to train others in aspects of compliance * Ethical - Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set values and accepted standards * Customer Focus - dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers * Productive work habits - organized, sets appropriate objectives and priorities, Follows through gain a comprehensive understanding of company control systems Experience and Qualifications Education High school Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
Experience Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment
Specific skills Strong organizational and communication skills Proficient mechanical aptitude Team player Candidates must be able to lift up to 60-lbs.
