About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience; high-risk experience required License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: NRP, BLS/ALS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - Labor & Delivery experience: 2+ years - High-risk experience - Immediate newborn care Job Description: - Work in a Labor and Delivery unit with 16 beds and a staff of 120. - Provide care for patients with a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. - Utilize equipment such as Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring. - Use Cerner and Fetal ink electronic medical records systems. - Participate in vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst: - Float to MFMU/MOMB/NICU areas as needed. - Adhere to dress code: scrubs provided. - Seek candidates who are outgoing, friendly, and adaptable.
