Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts to maneuver materials within the warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to all safety and regulatory policies.

Responsibilities

Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts efficiently and safely.

Transport materials to and from warehouse locations.

Load and unload trucks with products.

Maintain accurate and legible records and documentation.

Adhere to all company safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory policies and procedures.

Stage products for mixing and roasting operators.

Essential Skills

Proficient in forklift operation and material handling.

Experience with sit-down forklifts.

1+ years of experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols.

Attention to detail for maintaining documentation.

Work Environment

Work in a food manufacturing environment where you will need to follow GMPs, including wearing hair nets, beard nets, and avoiding jewelry. The position is for the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 11 pm. During the busy season from August to December, be prepared for potential mandatory overtime, with 10-hour shifts and possible Saturday work. Regular season hours range from 40-50 hours with occasional Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $43680.00/yr.
