Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team, responsible for assembling small parts to engine manifolds, adding washers, and utilizing torque tools to tighten components to specific measurements. The role involves adding bolts on coolers, following step-by-step instructions, adding oil when required, bench assembly work, completing minor paint touch-ups if needed, and performing final inspections to ensure order accuracy. You will assist in loading completed assemblies into crates and ensure attention to detail throughout the process. Responsibilities include the use of pneumatic tools such as grinders, air ratchets, impact guns, and rivet guns, as well as steam cleaning pieces to ensure parts are free from dirt and chips. Additionally, you will dip parts into rust remover, oil parts prior to packaging, and prepare and band work pieces for shipping.
Responsibilities
Assemble small parts to engine manifolds and add washers.
Utilize torque tools to tighten components to specific measurements.

Ensure order and inventory accuracy.

Work Environment
Our facility currently employs 120 people and is expanding to include three shifts. Although the facility is older and divided into two separate buildings, we are committed to upgrading it. You will work in a specific department alongside a supervisor and set team. Please note that the environment can be loud, dirty, and hot in warm weather and cold during winter months. The facility houses large areas of CNC machinery, weld booths, and racking systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dyer, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.40 - $17.40/hr.
