Job Summary and Responsibilities The Connection Center Triage RN is responsible for knowing his/her professional scope of practice as defined bythe Arizona Board of Registered Nursing, The Connection Center Triage RN is responsible for providing telephonicclinical assessment, triage, nursing advice, and health education to a variety of patients.

Responsible for triaging incoming calls from patients, assessing needs, giving appropriate clinical dispositionsbased on established protocols.

Facilitates access to primary care providers, specialists, healthcare facilities and community resources.

Provides education to patients regarding immediate care advice, chronic disease management, and preventativehealthcare maintenance

Adapts communication style to patients representing diverse personal, professional, cultural and socio-economicbackgrounds

Ability to multi-task utilizing critical thinking, verbal and listening communication skills while performing dataentry.

Job Requirements Minimum

Satisfactory completion of a formal Registered Nurse program

Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in acute care or ambulatory care medical clinic

Minimum 6 months of telephone/ call center triage nurse experience

Registered Nurse: AZ (RN:AZ)

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, data input and customer service skills are essentialMedical terminology, familiarity with reference tools and pharmacology appropriate to the Registered Nurse scope of practice is essential
